From the NY Times:

Walking into Ralph Lauren’s runway shows in Skylight Soho , where he has held them for the last several years, is like entering the set of a theater, where every detail is precisely placed. Actually, the industry veterans Stan Herman and Ellin Saltzman, on their way out of the show, were saying it was just like seeing a movie.

Classic Elegance on the Runway at Skylight Soho

This season, guests entered through a long hallway that had been carpeted in a soft khaki twill, wall to wall. There was an enormous bouquet of hydrangea, roses and calla lilies, about 10 feet tall, at the end of the hall, looking like something out of an English garden. The runway was glossy white, possibly fiberglass, capped by three steps at the end. Olivia Wilde was there, in a black jumpsuit, and Markus Ebner, a European editor, wore a white suit, white sweater and a white bandanna, with black shoes, looking as if he was meant to be part of the scene.
