The Executive Director of the NY branch of a Law Firm came to me with a request to make his Holiday Party this year ‘something different, something new and chic.’ He also wanted it to be turnkey and simple — and Skylight came to the rescue — we took the production and design in house!

With a forest delivered around 3am to our 5th floor storage room, we took on the task of creating a Winter Wonderland from soup to nuts with the direction and help from Chris Taylor of Taylor Design.

We wanted to create a festive environment, sophisticated yet accessible and magical.

And after moving furniture, bookshelves, tables, ottomans, filling vases  with water, running around and up and down flights of stairs, sliding boxes, shaking out linens, lighting candles, covered in white from the birch…
